The City of Pilot Point has 6 active wells and 1 that is awaiting completion. Each well pulls its water from the Trinity Aquifer. We have two elevated storage tanks and 7 grounds storage tanks.

Water Rates

*These are Residential Inside City Limit Rates Only. Outside City Limits and Commercial Rates are posted under City Documents, Ordinance # 419-13-2020.

Volume Charges

The purpose of the tiered rate structure is to encourage conservation and discourage waste. The lower rate is designed to provide for basic household needs and provide a reasonable allowance for irrigation. The higher rates are intended to charge heavier users more to accommodate the additional costs associated with peak demand.

Residential Volume charges for Inside City Limits are:

From 1,501 to 4,000 gallons: $4.81 per 1,000 gallons.
From 4,001 to 10,000 gallons: $5.85 per 1,000 gallons.
From 10,001 to 30,000 gallons: $6.92 per 1,000 gallons.
From 30,001 and up: $7.81 per 1,000 gallons.
